Spectators: 7398 (Terracing: 5586, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 100) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sever Bojonca got the match started through his kick off. Oliver's Codrin Suluțiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sever Bojonca in the 3rd minute of play. Alin Dinu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Codrin Suluțiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Alin Dinu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Sever Bojonca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gigi Şumălan in the 18th minute of play forced Ripensia UVT's goalkeeper Emanuel Uduleanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Rareș Marin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ivan Brumaru got free with Emanuel Uduleanu in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iurie Ghiondea made a great header on Oliver's corner, it was just that Ripensia UVT's Emanuel Uduleanu managed to reach the ball for a save. Gigi Şumălan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Uduleanu having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Alin Dinu notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Oliver's Codrin Suluțiu. Codrin Suluțiu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ivan Brumaru in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Emanuel Uduleanu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ripensia UVT's Emanuel Uduleanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Ripensia UVT from getting a goal against them. In the 46th minute, Alin Dinu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Codrin Suluțiu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gigi Şumălan to make the kick off. Oliver's Gigi Şumălan got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gigi Şumălan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Emanuel Uduleanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Codrin Suluțiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sever Bojonca in the 56th minute of play. Sever Bojonca struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Codrin Suluțiu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ripensia UVT. Ivan Brumaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Emanuel Uduleanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nechifor Balc hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the match, Gigi Şumălan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emanuel Uduleanu. Ripensia UVT's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gigi Şumălan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Gigi Şumălan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gigi Şumălan might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emanuel Uduleanu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gigi Şumălan ran back to his position shaking his head. 87 minutes into the match, Ripensia UVT's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Brumaru came free, but Emanuel Uduleanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sever Bojonca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Ripensia UVT booed when Oliver was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrei Păsărin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ripensia UVT's Alin Dinu got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
