After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Radu Ghimiș managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ultramax1000's supporters rose to their feet, but Radu Ghimiș was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pompiliu Nistor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pompiliu Nistor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Răzvan Panaitescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Răzvan Panaitescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pompiliu Nistor having to interfere. Ştefan Cartianu hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Irinel Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Radu Ghimiș succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 15th playminute. Alex Trifănucă came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by UimireaMaracineni's Marian Chimeț. But to his dismay, Marian Chimeț quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Alex Trifănucă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihnea Archiudean in the 25th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ultramax1000's Anton Băcioiu got a free kick in the 26th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Marian Chimeț managed to get in a good position for a shot. UimireaMaracineni's supporters rose to their feet, but Marian Chimeț was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manole Epure hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Radu Ghimiș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Pompiliu Nistor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th match minute, UimireaMaracineni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Codruț Stănculescu to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind UimireaMaracineni's goalkeeper Pompiliu Nistor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. UimireaMaracineni were furious when Petre Tastaman was red carded, 38 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 38 minutes into the game, one of UimireaMaracineni:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Pompiliu Nistor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Răzvan Panaitescu in the 45th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Răzvan Panaitescu to make the kick off. When Irinel Costa fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UimireaMaracineni's protests and gave Irinel Costa a yellow card for diving instead. Irinel Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Marian Chimeț sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Răzvan Panaitescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pompiliu Nistor having to interfere. Pompiliu Nistor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radu Ghimiș in the 84th minute of play. When Răzvan Panaitescu came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Ultramax1000 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Răzvan Panaitescu couldn't finish the play. Ultramax1000 were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of UimireaMaracineni for a fine match.
