In the 5th minute Pavel Măgherușan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Liviu Gavra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Pavel Măgherușan came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Hotesti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pavel Măgherușan couldn't finish the play. Eusebiu Inculeț received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Liviu Gavra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pavel Măgherușan in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Liviu Gavra saved Leghea Bihorului from getting behind. Eusebiu Inculeț fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Liviu Gavra having to interfere. In the 57th minute Eusebiu Inculeț shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Liviu Gavra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pavel Măgherușan struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Liviu Gavra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hotesti. Vasile Nanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Liviu Gavra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hotesti's Eusebiu Inculeț got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Liviu Gavra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vlad Zăreanu in the 68th minute of the match. Pavel Măgherușan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Liviu Gavra having to interfere. Liviu Gavra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pavel Măgherușan's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. 75 minutes into the match, Gică Otețea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eric Lupașcu. Hotesti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gică Otețea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 77th play minutes Gică Otețea shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Eric Lupașcu and just under the crossbar into goal. Liviu Gavra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pavel Măgherușan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hotesti were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after Leghea Bihorului's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Romeo Ciompec took the corner. The corner led Hotesti's Romeo Ciompec to fire away a dangerous shot which Liviu Gavra despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Eusebiu Inculeț sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute, Pavel Măgherușan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hotesti fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. In the 96th minute, Gelu Eremia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eusebiu Inculeț fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Liviu Gavra having to interfere. Despite being the better team, Hotesti failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
