The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Through an outstanding action, after 4 minutes, Liviu Gavra successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Aurel Crețu kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. When Radu Ghimiș came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Ultramax1000 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Radu Ghimiș couldn't finish the play. Anton Băcioiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 18 minutes into the match, Leghea Bihorului's goalkeeper Liviu Gavra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Radu Ghimiș. Radu Ghimiș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Liviu Gavra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute Dorin Soare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Trifănucă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Leghea Bihorului booed when Ultramax1000 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Ciocoiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexandru Maxim took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alex Trifănucă. Ultramax1000's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Sabin Tadici fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ultramax1000's protests and gave Sabin Tadici a yellow card for diving instead. After 41 played minutes Ultramax1000 got a freekick which was hit by Sabin Tadici. It was beautiful to see Leghea Bihorului's Aurel Crețu in action when he in the 42nd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After having played for 47 minutes, Răzvan Panaitescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ultramax1000's supporters crossed their fingers, but Răzvan Panaitescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dorin Soare stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Radu Ghimiș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Radu Ghimiș in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Liviu Gavra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dorin Soare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leghea Bihorului's Liviu Gavra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radu Ghimiș in the 61st minute of play. Radu Ghimiș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gică Otețea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Alex Trifănucă made a huge save. In the 77th minute, Ultramax1000's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gică Otețea fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Dorin Soare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aurel Crețu hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Radu Ghimiș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Radu Ghimiș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Liviu Gavra having to interfere. In the 87th minute Răzvan Panaitescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Liviu Gavra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alex Trifănucă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorin Soare in the 96th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
