In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind DROJDIERII's goalkeeper Nechifor Loga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 13 played minutes DROJDIERII got a freekick which was hit by Mădălin Gorgan. In the 13th minute Denis Negruț shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nechifor Loga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damian Buceceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olimpiu Oros in the 16th minute of play. A collision led to DROJDIERII getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Damian Buceceanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olimpiu Oros in the 26th minute. After a rather tough play, Holbav's Maxim Chiriță got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 28th match minute, DROJDIERII was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nechifor Octavian to maneuver through the defense. If Olimpiu Oros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damian Buceceanu made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Olimpiu Oros sent off a good shot on target. 47 minutes into the match, Holbav's goal looked a bit too open when Sergiu Rebengiuc came free, but Damian Buceceanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Avram Macamete came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Holbav fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Avram Macamete couldn't finish the play.

52 minutes into the game, DROJDIERII's Olimpiu Oros nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Damian Buceceanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Damian Buceceanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergiu Rebengiuc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the match, Holbav's goal looked a bit too open when Olimpiu Oros came free, but Damian Buceceanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Avram Macamete received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Nechifor Loga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Avram Macamete came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Holbav fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Avram Macamete couldn't finish the play. In the 88th minute, Sergiu Rebengiuc made a precise shot to the right of Damian Buceceanu. Holbav's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 91st minute, Mădălin Gorgan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 93 minutes, Avram Macamete managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Holbav's supporters crossed their fingers, but Avram Macamete was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 95 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for DROJDIERII! In the 97th minute there was a penalty for Holbav. Marcu Aalexoaiei stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nechifor Loga. 2-2. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
