Spectators: 6712 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 0) Glimbocelu's Iulian Şoltuz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Glimbocelu got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Cioroianu. When Anton Zăreanu came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Glimbocelu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anton Zăreanu couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Basarab Rogoz in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristinel Zgabei saved Glimbocelu from getting behind. The supporters of Glimbocelu booed when FC Victoria Bordusani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliodor Iorgu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Remus Șofran, 24 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 26th minute, Glimbocelu's Iulian Şoltuz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Anton Zăreanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Ilie Pietreanu made a huge save. Alin Mitrofan hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Victoria Bordusani's zone, Iulian Şoltuz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ilie Pietreanu came out of the goal and Iulian Şoltuz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 35 played minutes FC Victoria Bordusani got a freekick which was hit by Șerban Siadbei. If Anton Zăreanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iulian Şoltuz in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ilie Pietreanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Glimbocelu's Anton Zăreanu got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alin Mitrofan charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alin Mitrofan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th minute, Alin Mitrofan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 49 minutes, Eliodor Iorgu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Victoria Bordusani and the Glimbocelu players grew even worse after the yellow card.

After 62 played minutes Glimbocelu got a freekick which was hit by Cornel Gheorghiță. Cristinel Zgabei made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Edgar Bădiliță sent off a good shot on target. Iulian Şoltuz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Ilie Pietreanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iulian Şoltuz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilie Pietreanu having to interfere. If Iulian Şoltuz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Victoria Bordusani's Eliodor Iorgu got his second yellow card of the match in the 80th minute. The referee ordered Eliodor Iorgu off the ground. The supporters of Glimbocelu booed when FC Victoria Bordusani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliodor Iorgu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 82 minutes, Anton Zăreanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Glimbocelu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anton Zăreanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 86 played minutes FC Victoria Bordusani got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Bădiliță. Anton Zăreanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
