Tiberiu Alexe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iulian Şoltuz in the 21st minute of the match. When Cezar Săvulescu came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Los Malditos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cezar Săvulescu couldn't finish the play. With his leg Cristinel Zgabei managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Los Malditos FC's Cezar Săvulescu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Los Malditos FC's Traian Rada got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Glimbocelu defense, Cezar Săvulescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristinel Zgabei. The Glimbocelu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristinel Zgabei should have stopped the shot. In the 32nd minute, Costică Mudura got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cezar Săvulescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristinel Zgabei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. With a little luck, Glimbocelu's Cristinel Zgabei got control of the ball when Marian Cucerdean tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iulian Şoltuz to make the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Glimbocelu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anton Zăreanu to maneuver through the defense. Cristinel Zgabei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costică Mudura, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. When Tiberiu Gogea came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Los Malditos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiberiu Gogea couldn't finish the play. Cristinel Zgabei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cezar Săvulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
