In the 5th minute, Gheorghe Zbârcea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tiberiu Spiridon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isac Basarabescu having to interfere. Sever Dragomiroiu's late challenge caught a Bibanul FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sever Dragomiroiu helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Bibanul FC booed when Pacuraresti CSM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sever Dragomiroiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isac Basarabescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiberiu Spiridon in the 11th minute of the match. With a little luck, Bibanul FC's Petruț Colin got control of the ball when Bogdan Barascu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Pacuraresti CSM's Eugen Dobrin got a free kick in the 24th minute. Pacuraresti CSM's Isac Basarabescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiberiu Spiridon in the 25th minute of play. In the 29th minute of the match Mugur Păvăloae shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Isac Basarabescu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Anton Ignătescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Isac Basarabescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 37th minute, Florin Popete hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes into the match, Tiberiu Spiridon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isac Basarabescu. Pacuraresti CSM's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tiberiu Spiridon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Bogdan Barascu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Pacuraresti CSM booed when Bibanul FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiberiu Spiridon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute, Gheorghe Zbârcea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Pacuraresti CSM players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bibanul FC were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gheorghe Zbârcea was the one to do the kick off. Sever Dragomiroiu hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. When Bibanul FC's Anton Ignătescu in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 68th minute, Bogdan Barascu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Bibanul FC's Petru Brânza got a free kick in the 79th minute. After 80 played minutes, Pacuraresti CSM's Costică Pamfil shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Petruț Colin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pacuraresti CSM reached it. Gheorghe Zbârcea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Petruț Colin having to make a save. After some careless play in the Bibanul FC defense, Bogdan Barascu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Petruț Colin. The Bibanul FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Petruț Colin should have stopped the shot.
