The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nechifor Văcăroiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Dan Liviu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gheorghe Drilea, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the last second Dan Liviu throw himself and got hold of the ball when Gheorghe Drilea in the 42ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Gheorghe Drilea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Liviu having to interfere. In the 45th match minute, Barot was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tudor Ciolofan to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Petre Orescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dan Liviu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gheorghe Drilea in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd match minute, FC UNIREA Custelnic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Mușătescu to maneuver through the defense. Gheorghe Drilea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Nechifor Văcăroiu came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Barot fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nechifor Văcăroiu couldn't finish the play. When Nechifor Văcăroiu fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barot's protests and gave Nechifor Văcăroiu a yellow card for diving instead. Nechifor Văcăroiu hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Dan Liviu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gheorghe Drilea, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gheorghe Drilea in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dan Liviu saved FC UNIREA Custelnic from getting behind. 71 minutes into the match, FC UNIREA Custelnic's goal looked a bit too open when Gheorghe Drilea came free, but Dan Liviu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 72 played minutes FC UNIREA Custelnic got a freekick which was hit by Nechifor Onaca. Dan Liviu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gheorghe Drilea's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. In the 76th minute, Gheorghe Drilea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barot fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After having played for 79 minutes, Gheorghe Drilea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barot's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gheorghe Drilea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in FC UNIREA Custelnic's zone, Gheorghe Drilea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dan Liviu came out of the goal and Gheorghe Drilea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Barot's Gheorghe Drilea got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dan Liviu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gheorghe Drilea in the 91st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gheorghe Drilea in the 94th minute of play forced FC UNIREA Custelnic's goalkeeper Dan Liviu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barot's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
