Tiberiu Vărzaru kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Sergiu Panțâru charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sergiu Panțâru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vlad Vlădoiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniël Bergkamp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vlad Vlădoiu didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Universitatea Craiova's Daniël Bergkamp shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Daniël Bergkamp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Vlad Vlădoiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adam Banica came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Barot's Gheorghe Drilea. But to his dismay, Gheorghe Drilea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 38 minutes into the game, Gheorghe Drilea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Adam Banica was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 40th minute, Ovidiu Gavruță hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the match, Barot's goalkeeper Vlad Vlădoiu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniël Bergkamp. Sergiu Barbosu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Universitatea Craiova players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Barot were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniël Bergkamp to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Universitatea Craiova! Sergiu Panțâru hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 60 minutes into the match, Barot's goal looked a bit too open when Eliodor Velicu came free, but Vlad Vlădoiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 60 minutes into the game, Universitatea Craiova's Eliodor Velicu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vlad Vlădoiu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. When Tiberiu Vărzaru was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 69 minutes had been played. In the 69th match minute, Barot was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiberiu Vărzaru to maneuver through the defense. Nechifor Constantin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vlad Vlădoiu. Barot's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniël Bergkamp in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vlad Vlădoiu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Daniël Bergkamp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vlad Vlădoiu having to interfere. After 77 played minutes Barot got a freekick which was hit by Gheorghe Drilea. Vlad Vlădoiu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniël Bergkamp went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. Costică Bobocea kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After 88 played minutes Universitatea Craiova got a freekick which was hit by Sergiu Panțâru. Vlad Vlădoiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliodor Velicu, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After taking down the ball on Universitatea Craiova's corner Nechifor Constantin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vlad Vlădoiu quite easily take care of the ball. Universitatea Craiova were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
