Spectators: 7227 (Terracing: 5602, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 50) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Constantin Negru took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Remus Şimoc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonard Honcioiu came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by DINAMO's Dorin Ignea. But to his dismay, Dorin Ignea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of FC Upmark booed when DINAMO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristinel Sticlaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Basarab Mustață managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when FC Upmark's Alin Drăghici fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Constantin Negru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in DINAMO's zone, Constantin Negru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basarab Mustață came out of the goal and Constantin Negru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Constantin Negru in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Basarab Mustață saved DINAMO from getting behind. Leonard Honcioiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorin Ignea, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Constantin Negru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basarab Mustață having to interfere. Florin Encuțoiu hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dorin Ignea was the one to do the kick off. Dorin Ignea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Remus Şimoc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonard Honcioiu having to interfere. Basarab Mustață took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alin Drăghici, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Dorin Ignea came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the DINAMO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dorin Ignea couldn't finish the play. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind DINAMO's goalkeeper Basarab Mustață, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Remus Şimoc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the game, Avram Văcaru cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Leonard Honcioiu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Basarab Mustață showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alin Drăghici in the 81st minute of the match. Alin Drăghici sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. DINAMO's Dorin Ignea got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th minute, Toader Penaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dorin Ignea was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 92nd minute. DINAMO's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Dorin Ignea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonard Honcioiu having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Silviu Cazacu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Remus Şimoc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alin Drăghici in the 98th minute of play forced DINAMO's goalkeeper Basarab Mustață to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. DINAMO's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because FC Upmark had won, even though DINAMO had held more of the ball.
