To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 5 minutes into the match, DINAMO's Remus Şimoc sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ilie Iovanovici narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Mihail Vorniceanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciprian Şneapotă kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Marcel Apolzan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ilie Iovanovici. Football Stars's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mihail Vorniceanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the match, Mihail Vorniceanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Basarab Mustață. DINAMO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mihail Vorniceanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When Răzvan Homescu fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Football Stars's protests and gave Răzvan Homescu a yellow card for diving instead. Răzvan Homescu hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Football Stars's Ilie Iovanovici played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remus Şimoc in the 29th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dorin Ignea in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ilie Iovanovici prevented the ball from getting in the gole. George Torouţ received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Basarab Mustață tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. George Torouţ recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Mihail Vorniceanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th match minute, DINAMO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Avram Văcaru to maneuver through the defense. Remus Şimoc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Ilie Iovanovici tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Răzvan Homescu kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. DINAMO's Marcel Apolzan couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 48th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Football Stars.

56 minutes into the match, Football Stars's goalkeeper Ilie Iovanovici had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Remus Şimoc. Remus Şimoc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Football Stars were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after DINAMO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ciprian Şneapotă took the corner. Football Stars's Ciprian Şneapotă was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Basarab Mustață in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ciprian Şneapotă shot a long shot in the 65th minute and a light blocked Basarab Mustață hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 2-0. The supporters of Football Stars booed when DINAMO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel Apolzan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The corner ended in Ciprian Şneapotă almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but DINAMO's Basarab Mustață did a great save. Football Stars's George Torouţ got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 86 minutes into the match, DINAMO's goal looked a bit too open when Mihail Vorniceanu came free, but Basarab Mustață reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If George Torouţ had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mihail Vorniceanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basarab Mustață having to interfere.
