The audience thought a goal was coming when David Zbora got free with Octav Gherguț in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Eyague in the 37th minute of play forced Olesti's goalkeeper Octav Gherguț to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Octav Gherguț was a little too slow when David Zbora got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 3-0. Olesti's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Evaristo Eyague scored to the left of an out of position Octav Gherguț, making the score, 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evaristo Eyague to make the kick off. In the 55th minute of the match Amadeo Abeitia shot from a long distance. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Evaristo Eyague sped through Olesti's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Octav Gherguț. In the 76th minute, Flavius Pantiș hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evaristo Eyague might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Octav Gherguț. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Evaristo Eyague ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Secaturi booed when Olesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octav Gherguț showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Eyague, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Olesti's Octav Gherguț played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Eyague in the 91st minute of play. After 94 played minutes Secaturi got a freekick which was hit by Amadeo Abeitia.
