Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) DINAMO's Basarab Mustață played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Irinel Staicu in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th minute, Cristinel Sticlaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Irinel Staicu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Basarab Mustață read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Irinel Staicu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Basarab Mustață tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Basarab Mustață made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Rădescu in the 33rd minute of play. Gheorghe Câmpeanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Basarab Mustață read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Basarab Mustață made an important save on a dangerous shot by Irinel Staicu in the 39th minute. Irinel Staicu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 46th minute. Licuriciu's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Irinel Staicu in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Basarab Mustață saved DINAMO from getting behind. In the 84th minute Irinel Staicu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basarab Mustață saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basarab Mustață stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Irinel Staicu's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. After a rather tough play, Licuriciu's Emilian Agachi got a free kick in the 88th minute. Irinel Staicu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Basarab Mustață tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Licuriciu were the better team. Licuriciu's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
