Cristian Baran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Cărtărescu having to interfere. Eliodor Domuță charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eliodor Domuță the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Zlatarei getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Eliodor Domuță hit a great ball. Costică Hirean recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 24 minutes into the game, Costică Hirean cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Cristian Lupșe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 29 minutes into the game, Alin Busuioc cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Anton Cărtărescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Costică Hirean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th match minute, FC Lyra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Cârnu to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costică Hirean in the 65th minute of play forced FC Lyra's goalkeeper Cristian Lupșe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. During the 73rd minute of the match Eliodor Domuță completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Eliodor Domuță a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After having played for 78 minutes, Costică Hirean managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zlatarei's supporters crossed their fingers, but Costică Hirean was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 82 minutes of play Zlatarei's Iustinian Ciuhandu was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Anton Cărtărescu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristian Baran showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 94 minute of play. FC Lyra's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
