Anton Cărtărescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ştefan Hapaina in the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the game, FCSA's Iacob Panciu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anton Cărtărescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Codruț Gherghe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Costică Hirean in the 28th minute. 30 minutes into the match, FCSA's Edgar Pivniceru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anton Cărtărescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FCSA's Codruț Gherghe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costică Hirean in the 68th minute of play. Codruț Gherghe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iustinian Ciuhandu in the 70th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Costică Hirean had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Codruț Gherghe. FCSA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Costică Hirean was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. Codruț Gherghe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iustinian Ciuhandu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anton Cărtărescu made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Edgar Pivniceru sent off a good shot on target. In the 80th minute Costică Hirean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Codruț Gherghe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moise Sichitiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Cărtărescu having to interfere. In the 84th match minute, Zlatarei was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gigel Nediu to maneuver through the defense. Codruț Gherghe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costică Hirean in the 88th minute of the match. If Gigel Nediu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Codruț Gherghe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliodor Domuță, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Zlatarei's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
