An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Câmpeanu in the 23rd minute of play forced FC SOFERU BAIA MAREE's goalkeeper Răzvan Rădvan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Gorunesti's Cristinel Oravițan got control of the ball when Octavian Hoancă tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC SOFERU BAIA MAREE's Răzvan Rădvan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Câmpeanu in the 26th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Gorunesti's Lucrețiu Ichim got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Fabian Stan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Cristinel Oravițan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabian Stan in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristinel Oravițan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Horia Gârniceanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Corneliu Poplăcean kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Lucrețiu Tomoiu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Gorunesti's Cristinel Oravițan didn't even have to move. Octavian Hoancă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristinel Oravițan having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Martin Câmpeanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 72 minutes, Răzvan Rădvan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC SOFERU BAIA MAREE's goalkeeper Răzvan Rădvan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Horia Gârniceanus short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Răzvan Rădvan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Răzvan Rădvan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Câmpeanu in the 86th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Martin Câmpeanu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Răzvan Rădvan. The goal made the score 0-2. The audience was convinced that Martin Câmpeanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Răzvan Rădvan was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Gorunesti had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
