Gorunesti's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Cristi Paraschiv scored to the left of an out of position Cristinel Oravițan, making the score, 1-0. Cristinel Oravițan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristi Paraschiv went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Cristi Paraschiv in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cristinel Oravițan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cristi Paraschiv made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 17thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Cristinel Oravițan would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. In the 24th match minute, Colonia CS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorin Trapcea to maneuver through the defense. Gorunesti's Cristinel Oravițan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Gorunesti from getting a goal against them. Cristi Paraschiv's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristinel Oravițan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Cristi Paraschiv's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Cristinel Oravițan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A hard shot by Alex Oneț from long distance, 32 minutes into the match, got Cristinel Oravițan's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 34th minute, Adrian Gheban hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 40 played minutes Gorunesti got a freekick which was hit by Corneliu Poplăcean. A hard shot 42 in the game by Cristi Paraschiv from a close distance when the talented Cristinel Oravițan managed to make a qualified save. Gorunesti's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Gorunesti's Corneliu Poplăcean got a free kick in the 45th minute. Cristi Paraschiv was extremely unlucky when he, in the 46th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucrețiu Ichim in the 55th minute of play forced Colonia CS's goalkeeper Mădălin Tatu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristinel Oravițan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristi Paraschiv, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Corneliu Poplăcean kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 65th minute Cristi Paraschiv shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristinel Oravițan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Colonia CS's Radu Dan got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ion Ioanițiu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristinel Oravițan having to make a save. Cristinel Oravițan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristi Paraschiv, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Radu Dan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mădălin Tatu made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Martin Câmpeanu sent off a good shot on target. In the 76th minute, Colonia CS's Ştefan Baltian seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ştefan Baltian the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Colonia CS protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ştefan Baltian had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 76th match minute, Colonia CS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ştefan Baltian to maneuver through the defense. Vasile Oancea shot from long distance in the 77th minute, but Mădălin Tatu was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Ion Ioanițiu struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Cristinel Oravițan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colonia CS. Ion Ioanițiu might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristinel Oravițan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ion Ioanițiu ran back to his position shaking his head. 85 minutes into the game, Gorunesti's Martin Câmpeanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mădălin Tatu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Colonia CS's Ion Ioanițiu got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gorunesti fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 94th minute. Penalty! Cristinel Oravițan went to the wrong direction when Cristi Paraschiv was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Radu Dan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Cristinel Oravițan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Colonia CS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
