Spectators: 7465 (Terracing: 5600, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Corneliu Reznic started the match with the kick off. Corneliu Reznic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Ferid İzgü tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th match minute, Ramon CF Arad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodor Melinescu to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Ramon CF Arad's zone, Alex Agudin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelian Vulpescu came out of the goal and Alex Agudin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aurelian Vulpescu made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Alex Agudin sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Ramon CF Arad's zone, Aurelian Arseanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelian Vulpescu came out of the goal and Aurelian Arseanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aurelian Arseanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 27 minutes into the match, SS Lazio Sibiu's Alex Agudin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aurelian Vulpescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robert Calomfir during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 28 played minutes Ramon CF Arad got a freekick which was hit by Robert Calomfir. Teodor Melinescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ferid İzgü tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the game, Ramon CF Arad's Teodor Melinescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ferid İzgü made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Aurelian Vulpescu came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by SS Lazio Sibiu's Alex Agudin. But to his dismay, Alex Agudin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aurelian Arseanu made a kick off. Aurelian Vulpescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurel Ţurlău, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aurelian Arseanu in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aurelian Vulpescu saved Ramon CF Arad from getting behind. After 58 played minutes SS Lazio Sibiu got a freekick which was hit by Aurelian Arseanu. Alex Agudin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alex Agudin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aurelian Vulpescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelian Arseanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex Agudin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aurelian Vulpescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Agudin in the 68th minute of play. Alex Agudin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aurelian Arseanu took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aurelian Vulpescu. Aurelian Vulpescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 83 minutes into the match, Ramon CF Arad's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Agudin came free, but Aurelian Vulpescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aurelian Vulpescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Agudin in the 88th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, SS Lazio Sibiu's goalkeeper Ferid İzgü had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teodor Melinescu. Aurelian Vulpescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelian Arseanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
