Budiasca FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave STAU BUKREŞ the free kick. Gelu Vătafu kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Traian Babeș recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dan Horodincă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Traian Babeș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alaba Ciobica hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, Budiasca FC's Andrei Joita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Calistrat Nicea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gelu Vătafu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Calistrat Nicea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 45th minute by Gelu Vătafu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Gelu Vătafu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andrei Joita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Budiasca FC defense, Victor Tănăsocă kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dan Horodincă. The Budiasca FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dan Horodincă should have stopped the shot. If Andrei Joita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Calistrat Nicea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrei Joita in the 66th minute of play. In the 68thth minute of the game Andrei Joita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but STAU BUKREŞ's Calistrat Nicea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Gelu Vătafu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Budiasca FC's Gelu Vătafu got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Calistrat Nicea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrei Joita in the 74th minute of the match. After having played for 80 minutes, Andrei Joita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Budiasca FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrei Joita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andrei Joita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the match, STAU BUKREŞ's goal looked a bit too open when Andrei Joita came free, but Calistrat Nicea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
