Spectators: 7490 (Terracing: 5618, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) Calistrat Neguțu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristi Mărculescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciprian Stroia in the 17th minute of play forced Vorta UFC's goalkeeper Nistor Chiose to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Vorta UFC's Calistrat Neguțu threw himself towards the right post 20 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cristi Mărculescu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Octav Dobrica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calistrat Neguțu having to interfere. In the last second Calistrat Neguțu throw himself and got hold of the ball when Cristi Mărculescu in the 25thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After taking down the ball on Vorta UFC's corner Doru Boltașu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Calistrat Neguțu quite easily take care of the ball. In the 28th minute, Bocicau FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cristi Mărculescu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With an all-out effort, Vorta UFC's Calistrat Neguțu threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cristi Mărculescu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Bocicau FC's Calistrat Neguțu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Bocicau FC from getting a goal against them. In the 34thth minute of the game Ciprian Stroia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vorta UFC's Nistor Chiose was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Vorta UFC's Nicolae Calomfir got a free kick in the 35th minute. The attack was good, but when Bogdan Bordeianu in the 49th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Calistrat Neguțu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristi Mărculescu went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 57th minute, Ciprian Stroia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bocicau FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Bogdan Bordeianu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Octav Dobrica in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Calistrat Neguțu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Octav Dobrica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciprian Stroia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nistor Chiose having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Vorta UFC's zone, Ciprian Stroia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nistor Chiose came out of the goal and Ciprian Stroia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Bogdan Bordeianu came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Bocicau FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bogdan Bordeianu couldn't finish the play. Nistor Chiose made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Ciprian Stroia sent off a good shot on target. 93 minutes into the match, Ciprian Stroia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nistor Chiose. Vorta UFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ciprian Stroia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Emil Eftimiu hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. The Bocicau FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bocicau FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
