The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nistor Chiose was out of position in the 3 minute of play, and Lucian Zbuchea capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lucian Zbuchea really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. When Lucian Zbuchea came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the FC KLAUSENBURG fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucian Zbuchea couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Emilian Găman managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC KLAUSENBURG's supporters rose to their feet, but Emilian Găman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nistor Chiose breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vorta UFC were furious when Doru Boltașu was red carded, 10 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 11th match minute, Vorta UFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doru Boltașu to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, FC KLAUSENBURG's Emilian Găman got a free kick in the 14th minute. When Lucian Zbuchea came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the FC KLAUSENBURG fans jumped to their feet. Nicolae Calomfir hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 32nd match minute, Vorta UFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octav Dobrica to maneuver through the defense. In the 35thth minute of the game Lucian Zbuchea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vorta UFC's Nistor Chiose was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emilian Găman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute Virgil Isaia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nistor Chiose saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nistor Chiose made an important save on a dangerous shot by Horaţiu Conta in the 40th minute. Lucian Zbuchea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nistor Chiose having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lucian Zbuchea to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Vorta UFC's goal looked a bit too open when Manole Melentie came free, but Nistor Chiose reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nistor Chiose took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucian Zbuchea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Vorta UFC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Octav Dobrica hit a great ball. Augustin Bunescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Octav Dobrica in the 61st minute. Emilian Găman's late challenge caught a Vorta UFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emilian Găman helped the player get up and apologised. After 70 played minutes FC KLAUSENBURG got a freekick which was hit by Emilian Găman. FC KLAUSENBURG's Lucian Zbuchea managed to work through Vorta UFC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Lucian Zbuchea dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 78th minute, Lucian Zbuchea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 86thth minute of the game Lucian Zbuchea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vorta UFC's Nistor Chiose was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Virgil Isaia charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Virgil Isaia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 88th match minute, FC KLAUSENBURG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgil Isaia to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute, Nicolae Calomfir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manole Melentie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nistor Chiose showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucian Zbuchea in the 96th minute of the match.
