The FC KLAUSENBURG fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when FC KLAUSENBURG's Lucian Zbuchea looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Augustin Bunescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petru Jder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Costin Logofeteanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucian Zbuchea's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute, one of FC KLAUSENBURG:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC KLAUSENBURG. After a rather tough play, Vargata's Lucian Chitila got a free kick in the 27th minute. Emilian Găman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Costin Logofeteanu having to interfere. Sandu Arvinte's late challenge caught a FC KLAUSENBURG's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sandu Arvinte helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC KLAUSENBURG booed when Vargata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandu Arvinte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emilian Găman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vargata's Costin Logofeteanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucian Zbuchea in the 33rd minute of play. If Petru Jder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucian Zbuchea in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Costin Logofeteanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lucian Zbuchea to make the kick off. Augustin Bunescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petru Jder, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Vargata's goal looked a bit too open when Lucian Zbuchea came free, but Costin Logofeteanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Augustin Bunescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucian Chitila in the 64th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Lucian Zbuchea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Costin Logofeteanu was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucian Zbuchea in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Costin Logofeteanu saved Vargata from getting behind. Emilian Găman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Costin Logofeteanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the game, Lucian Zbuchea recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Costin Logofeteanu. Lucian Zbuchea showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. In the 92nd minute Lucian Chitila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augustin Bunescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC KLAUSENBURG's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
