The referee ignored Arvatfalva's protests and gave Pompiliu Taşcu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th minute, Pompiliu Taşcu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Calistrat Neguțu came out of the goal and Martin Angheluș tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ciprian Stroia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Traian Cumpanașu having to interfere. Nicu Mardare's late challenge caught a Bocicau FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicu Mardare helped the player get up and apologised.
