Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Deparati AC's Francisc Martin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With an all-out effort, Plaic's Silviu Leucuța threw himself towards the right post 8 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nistor Chirtoacă, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Codruț Milescu fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deparati AC's protests and gave Codruț Milescu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Deparati AC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Codruț Milescu hit a great ball. If Nistor Chirtoacă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nistor Chirtoacă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Silviu Leucuța tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Horia Vidican hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute, one of Deparati AC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Deparati AC. Dacian Deliman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisc Martin in the 30th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nistor Chirtoacă in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silviu Leucuța prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Francisc Martin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dacian Deliman having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Eugen Manu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 48 minutes into the match, Deparati AC's goal looked a bit too open when Nistor Chirtoacă came free, but Silviu Leucuța reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nistor Chirtoacă made a kick off. After 52 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Deparati AC! Silviu Leucuța made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nistor Chirtoacă in the 55th minute of play. If Nistor Chirtoacă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Deparati AC's Horia Vidican got a free kick in the 59th minute. Alin Baștină recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th minute of the match Aristide Arghirescu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silviu Leucuța showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Plaic getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Horia Ciuhandu hit a great ball. The Plaic supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Deparati AC's performance. The match ended with a win for Deparati AC.
