Costin Lung fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petrică Busuioc having to interfere. Viorel Fecioru took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Petrică Busuioc. Fc Arges Pitesti's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of Fc Arges Pitesti:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Agronomul-BTF:s goal. When the match had been going on for 28 minutes, Agronomul-BTF's Laurențiu Bucuță got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Petrică Busuioc. Costin Lung in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Petrică Busuioc, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 41st minute, Costin Lung fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Petrică Busuioc, passed just outside the right post. After a rather tough play, Agronomul-BTF's Costin Lung got a free kick in the 45th minute. After having played for 47 minutes, Manole Dobrica managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Agronomul-BTF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manole Dobrica was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Costin Lung made a kick off. Aurelian Ivan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernest Dincă having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Agronomul-BTF's Costin Lung sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Petrică Busuioc narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Costin Lung in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Petrică Busuioc saved Fc Arges Pitesti from getting behind. Costin Lung sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 65thth minute of the game Costin Lung who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fc Arges Pitesti's Petrică Busuioc was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Costin Lung's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Petrică Busuioc was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Petrică Busuioc breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 94thth minute of the game Costin Lung who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fc Arges Pitesti's Petrică Busuioc was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee ended the match the Agronomul-BTF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
