Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 5th minute Mihnea Ciobanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Isăilă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Zsombolya AS's Iulian Sava got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 11th minute, Aurel Niță made a precise shot to the right of Doru Hogaș. Izvorasu AC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Manuel Isăilă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihnea Ciobanu in the 17th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Nechifor Zbanţ hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nechifor Zbanţ hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, Zsombolya AS's goal looked a bit too open when Mihnea Ciobanu came free, but Manuel Isăilă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Izvorasu AC's zone, Aurel Niță stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Doru Hogaș came out of the goal and Aurel Niță tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd minute, Horaţiu Nacu made a precise shot to the right of Doru Hogaș. Izvorasu AC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The Izvorasu AC fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Izvorasu AC's Robert Ionescu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 38th match minute, Izvorasu AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Costin Hurmuzache to maneuver through the defense. Aurel Niță recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Izvorasu AC booed when Zsombolya AS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mugurel Arșanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iulian Sava hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After 47 played minutes Zsombolya AS got a freekick which was hit by Iulian Sava. 48 minutes into the match, Izvorasu AC's Șerban Albulescu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The Izvorasu AC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Zsombolya AS were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aurel Niță was the one to do the kick off. Izvorasu AC's Doru Hogaș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurel Niță in the 53rd minute of play. When Mugurel Musta fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zsombolya AS's protests and gave Mugurel Musta a yellow card for diving instead. In the 54th match minute, Zsombolya AS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mugurel Musta to maneuver through the defense. Izvorasu AC's Mihnea Ciobanu got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 66 played minutes Aurel Niță rounded Izvorasu AC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-3. Manuel Isăilă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihnea Ciobanu in the 72nd minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Izvorasu AC's goalkeeper Doru Hogaș had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Horaţiu Nacu. Marcel Băcioiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Manuel Isăilă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Robert Ionescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Izvorasu AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Robert Ionescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Isăilă breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Manuel Isăilă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel Băcioiu in the 98th minute of the match. Zsombolya AS's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
