In the 13thth minute of the game Denis Tilincă who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zsombolya AS's Manuel Isăilă was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Denis Tilincă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Isăilă having to interfere. Manuel Isăilă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Călin Bârsan in the 21st minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Zsombolya AS's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Tilincă came free, but Manuel Isăilă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute Denis Tilincă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Isăilă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32ndth minute of the game Denis Tilincă who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zsombolya AS's Manuel Isăilă was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Denis Tilincă who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Manuel Isăilă when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Denis Tilincă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 96th minute, one of Zsombolya AS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Zsombolya AS. FC Los Angeles's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
