Plaic's Dacian Deliman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Agrigoroaiei in the 21st minute of play. Luca Macavei was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Nistor Chirtoacă capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nistor Chirtoacă really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Alin Baștină in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Luca Macavei, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Aurel Biriș hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Victorious's zone, Alin Baștină stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luca Macavei came out of the goal and Alin Baștină tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Nistor Chirtoacă, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 35 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Luca Macavei was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 37 played minutes, Plaic's Horia Ciuhandu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luca Macavei came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Plaic reached it. Luca Macavei made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alin Baștină in the 39th minute. Nistor Chirtoacă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Luca Macavei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alin Baștină could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Luca Macavei made a huge save. 46 minutes into the match, Victorious's goal looked a bit too open when Nistor Chirtoacă came free, but Luca Macavei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nistor Chirtoacă was the one to do the kick off. Plaic's Nistor Chirtoacă got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Aron Teleagă managed to get in a good position for a shot. Plaic's supporters rose to their feet, but Aron Teleagă was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luca Macavei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alin Baștină struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Luca Macavei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Plaic. 70 minutes into the game, Nistor Chirtoacă cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Luca Macavei was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 73rd match minute, Victorious was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurel Biriș to maneuver through the defense. Nistor Chirtoacă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luca Macavei having to interfere. After 94 played minutes Victorious got a freekick which was hit by Marcel Andriescu.
