When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mihnea Ciobanu made a kick off. After 54 minutes of play, Izvorasu AC's Damian Molodețiu made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Bădulescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Emil Arbore lost his temper 58 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee gave Izvorasu AC a penalty, 60 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Șerban Albulescu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cernavoda's Daniel Bădulescu. 5-2. Daniel Bădulescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-2. The supporters of Izvorasu AC booed when Cernavoda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matei Musta didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Izvorasu AC's Marcel Băcioiu got a free kick in the 90th minute. Daniel Bădulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihnea Ciobanu in the 93rd minute of play. If Matei Musta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
