Daniel Bădulescu made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Eugen Manu sent off a good shot on target. After 20 played minutes Plaic got a freekick which was hit by Niculae Nichita. Dacian Deliman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcu Văduva in the 21st minute of the match. A collision led to Plaic getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Horia Ciuhandu hit a great ball. If Alin Baștină had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Alin Baștină took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Daniel Bădulescu to make any attempt to save it. When Iosif Spiru came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Cernavoda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iosif Spiru couldn't finish the play. Daniel Bădulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aron Teleagă, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Cernavoda's goalkeeper Daniel Bădulescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alin Baștină. In the 39th minute, Aristide Dominte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Niculae Nichita's late challenge caught a Cernavoda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Niculae Nichita helped the player get up and apologised. It was joyful for the audience to see Eugen Manu dribbling past the opponents defense line in the 46th played minute and put the ball into the net. 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The wind increased when Nistor Chirtoacă made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Plaic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niculae Nichita to maneuver through the defense. In the 52nd minute, Luca Gherasim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Bădulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nistor Chirtoacă, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 65th minute of the match, Marcu Văduva got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dacian Deliman was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Nistor Chirtoacă hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Horia Ciuhandu hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 73 minutes in the game Marcu Văduva after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Dacian Deliman. When Niculae Nichita was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 81 minutes had been played. Aron Teleagă charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Emilian Nișu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Bădulescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Plaic players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
