If Șerban Voica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute Iulian Vârjean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luca Macavei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Agrigoroaiei struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Dinu Murgan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Victorious. Luca Macavei stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iulian Vârjean's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. After a rather tough play, Victorious's Marcel Andriescu got a free kick in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Victorious's goal looked a bit too open when Șerban Voica came free, but Luca Macavei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Laza defense, Daniel Agrigoroaiei kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dinu Murgan. The Laza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dinu Murgan should have stopped the shot. When the match was over Laza could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Victorious throughout the match.
