Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mihnea Ciobanu got the match started through his kick off. Alin Baștină received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Doru Hogaș tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A very good chance for a goal. 15 minutes into the game, Eugen Manu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Plaic's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Izvorasu AC the free kick. After 15 played minutes Plaic got a freekick which was hit by Eugen Manu. Dacian Deliman made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Robert Ionescu sent off a good shot on target. In the 17th minute, Horaţiu Rucăreanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 20 minutes, Alin Baștină made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Izvorasu AC's Doru Hogaș tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Nistor Chirtoacă managed to get in a good position for a shot. Plaic's supporters rose to their feet, but Nistor Chirtoacă was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Doru Hogaș breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Damian Molodețiu kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. If Alin Baștină had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute Alin Baștină shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doru Hogaș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robert Ionescu scored 1-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dacian Deliman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 37th minute of the match Aristide Arghirescu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Doru Hogaș showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Doru Hogaș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alin Baștină in the 42nd minute of play. The attack was good, but when Nistor Chirtoacă in the 45th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Doru Hogaș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugen Manu in the 47th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nistor Chirtoacă made a kick off. Robert Ionescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dacian Deliman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Ionescu in the 54th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 56th minute by Nistor Chirtoacă got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Nistor Chirtoacă struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Doru Hogaș didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Plaic. Alin Baștină sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nistor Chirtoacă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doru Hogaș having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Izvorasu AC's Cristian Săndoi got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Doru Hogaș made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alin Baștină in the 63rd minute. In the 70th minute Nistor Chirtoacă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doru Hogaș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Izvorasu AC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Olimpiu Bacalu hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Alin Baștină managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nistor Chirtoacă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd minute Alin Baștină shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doru Hogaș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nistor Chirtoacă in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Doru Hogaș prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Alin Baștină got free in front of the goal in the 85th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Doru Hogaș was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Nistor Chirtoacă was extremely unlucky when he, in the 88th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Alin Baștină struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Doru Hogaș didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Plaic. In the 95thth minute of the game Nistor Chirtoacă who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Izvorasu AC's Doru Hogaș was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alin Baștină received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Doru Hogaș tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Plaic were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
