FC Los Angeles's Călin Drăgoescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisc Negulescu in the 39th minute of play. If Francisc Negulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rareș Onitiu kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Călin Drăgoescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horia Spelbu, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Thanks to some nice moves Grigore Doman could shoot a difficult shot in the 82nd minute, which Călin Drăgoescu however easily saved by the left post. Tantava were awarded a corner in the 98th minute after FC Los Angeles's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Augustin Macaneață took the corner.
