Spectators: 7528 (Terracing: 5647, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Silviu Liciu started the match with the kick off. The supporters of SS Gașca Nebună booed when Zorileasca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgil Gavrilescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute SS Gașca Nebună were awarded a corner. Valentin Zăreanu went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Zorileasca's goalie and right to David Bosânceanu. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Zorileasca's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Aurel Cezar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Denis Paulescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Zorileasca's zone, Silviu Liciu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernest Mihuț came out of the goal and Silviu Liciu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silviu Liciu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Denis Paulescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aurel Cezar in the 18th minute. Zorileasca's Ernest Mihuț played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horia Antipa in the 23rd minute of play. Silviu Liciu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29thth minute of the game Silviu Liciu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zorileasca's Ernest Mihuț was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 30th match minute, Zorileasca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marian Jianu to maneuver through the defense. Horia Antipa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 41 minutes into the match, Zorileasca's goal looked a bit too open when Horia Antipa came free, but Ernest Mihuț reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Horia Antipa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Denis Paulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavril Enășoiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. SS Gașca Nebună's Denis Paulescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save SS Gașca Nebună from getting a goal against them. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gavril Enășoiu made a kick off. A collision led to SS Gașca Nebună getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Valentin Zăreanu hit a great ball. SS Gașca Nebună's Denis Paulescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurel Cezar in the 56th minute of play. Denis Paulescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aurel Cezar went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 62nd minute, David Nisipeanu made a precise shot to the right of Denis Paulescu. SS Gașca Nebună's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Horia Antipa succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 71st playminute. 76 minutes into the match, SS Gașca Nebună's Horia Antipa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ernest Mihuț narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Denis Paulescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gavril Enășoiu in the 80th minute of the match. Zorileasca's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Silviu Liciu scored to the left of an out of position Ernest Mihuț, making the score, 2-2. After 94 minutes, Lucrețiu Pătrășcanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zorileasca and the SS Gașca Nebună players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Zorileasca's Lucrețiu Pătrășcanu got a free kick in the 94th minute. SS Gașca Nebună's Valentin Zăreanu couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 95th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Zorileasca. Horia Antipa had several of the Zorileasca's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 98 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-4 score and a disappointed Ernest Mihuț as he didn't even see the shot coming.
