When Daniel Apăvăloaie fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SS Gașca Nebună's protests and gave Daniel Apăvăloaie a yellow card for diving instead. After 27 played minutes SS Gașca Nebună got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Apăvăloaie. Petru Oprița took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Denis Paulescu. SS Gașca Nebună's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Talp's Pavel Ştefulescu got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Irinel Hăulică showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silviu Liciu in the 37th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Luca Atanasiu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Denis Paulescu. SS Gașca Nebună's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luca Atanasiu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luca Atanasiu to make the kick off. Denis Paulescu came out of the goal and Vintilă Anton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luca Atanasiu took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Denis Paulescu. Denis Paulescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 82 played minutes SS Gașca Nebună got a freekick which was hit by Avram Semeghin. In the 85th minute, Luca Atanasiu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Denis Paulescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. When Silviu Liciu came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the SS Gașca Nebună fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silviu Liciu couldn't finish the play. Valentin Zăreanu hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Luca Atanasiu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Denis Paulescu made a huge save. Luca Atanasiu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Denis Paulescu firmly grabbed it by the left post.
