The supporters of Setu AC booed when Sofriceni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isac Lăzăroiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. With 41 minutes on the clock, Moise Mazăre commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Gavril Şimoc could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Sebastian Bogza made a huge save. Sebastian Bogza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vlad Nechifor, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute Augustin Spirea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Bogza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 91 minutes, Augustin Spirea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Setu AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augustin Spirea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Setu AC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
