In the 4th minute, Aurel Cezar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sebastian Bogza was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 8th minute, Gavril Enășoiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernardo Melani's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ernest Mihuț read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Aurel Cezar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Bogza having to interfere. After 22 played minutes Sofriceni got a freekick which was hit by Augustin Postelnicescu. Sebastian Bogza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gavril Enășoiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 36 minutes, Augustin Postelnicescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sofriceni and the Zorileasca players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Virgil Gavrilescu fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zorileasca's protests and gave Virgil Gavrilescu a yellow card for diving instead. Virgil Gavrilescu kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Augustin Postelnicescu missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 39 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Ernest Mihuț right hand side. 46 minutes into the match, Sofriceni's goal looked a bit too open when David Nisipeanu came free, but Sebastian Bogza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernardo Melani made a kick off. Sebastian Bogza was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gavril Enășoiu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 54 minute of play. Ernest Mihuț showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isac Lăzăroiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After 59 minutes, David Nisipeanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zorileasca and the Sofriceni players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sofriceni booed when Zorileasca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Nisipeanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 67 minutes, Bernardo Melani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sofriceni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardo Melani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70th minute Bernardo Melani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernest Mihuț saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd match minute, Zorileasca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucrețiu Pătrășcanu to maneuver through the defense. After 77 played minutes Sofriceni got a freekick which was hit by Moise Mazăre. Ernest Mihuț showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Melani in the 83rd minute of the match. Sebastian Bogza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Nisipeanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Sofriceni supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Zorileasca's performance. The match ended with a win for Zorileasca.
