Spectators: 7530 (Terracing: 5649, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) Ion Filipoiu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Virgil Berevoescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 22 minutes into the match, Victor Stroescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Irinel Hăulică. Talp's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victor Stroescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Virgil Berevoescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Atanasiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After having played for 29 minutes, Luca Atanasiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Talp's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luca Atanasiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gavril Şimoc's late challenge caught a Talp's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gavril Şimoc helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Talp booed when Setu AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. The wind increased when Augustin Spirea made the kick off in the second half. Irinel Hăulică stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victor Stroescu's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Costel Cojan charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Nichifor Tărbac kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Setu AC's goal looked a bit too open when Ion Filipoiu came free, but Virgil Berevoescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Augustin Spirea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Virgil Berevoescu was a little too slow when Ion Filipoiu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 1-2. The supporters of Setu AC booed when Talp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stelian Nicorici didn't get a good kick on the ball.
