Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Vasile Pavel got the match started through his kick off. Liviu Giurgiu kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Albert Arapașu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 5th minute, CIP Media's Iustin Macovei ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ionel Jerca. Ionel Jerca yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Vasile Pavel might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Viorel Senin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vasile Pavel ran back to his position shaking his head. 13 minutes into the match, CIP Media's goal looked a bit too open when Vasile Pavel came free, but Viorel Senin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, CIP Media's Panait Răducu got a free kick in the 14th minute. Viorel Senin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vasile Pavel in the 17th minute of play. If Albert Arapașu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albert Arapașu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Ionel Jerca made a huge save. 27 minutes into the game, Toader Gherghescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C. Academia Jardea's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CIP Media the free kick. Toader Gherghescu hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. A collision led to F.C. Academia Jardea getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Cazimir Alecu hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute, Iustin Macovei got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iustin Macovei got free with Ionel Jerca in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristinel Bolcaș kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Albert Arapașu took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ionel Jerca. Ionel Jerca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vasile Pavel in the 42nd minute of play forced CIP Media's goalkeeper Viorel Senin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albert Arapașu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

F.C. Academia Jardea's Ionel Jerca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iustin Macovei in the 52nd minute of play. Ionel Jerca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iustin Macovei in the 54th minute of play. If Albert Arapașu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 58th match minute, F.C. Academia Jardea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iurie Zamfir to maneuver through the defense. If Iustin Macovei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Viorel Senin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vasile Pavel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 66 minutes, Iurie Zamfir mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C. Academia Jardea and the CIP Media players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 73 minutes of play, CIP Media's Iustin Macovei made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ionel Jerca was left in no man's land by his defense there! Viorel Senin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vasile Pavel, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vasile Pavel in the 81st minute of play forced CIP Media's goalkeeper Viorel Senin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aron Pivniceru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vasile Pavel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Viorel Senin came out and tried to block the shot, but Vasile Pavel slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 84th minute. After having played for 91 minutes, Iustin Macovei managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CIP Media's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iustin Macovei was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teodor Gănescu was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 92 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 92nd minute of the game. One of F.C. Academia Jardea:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of CIP Media:s goal. CIP Media's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
