Spectators: 5110 (Terracing: 4100, Seating: 1010, VIP seats: 0) Augustin Mailat made the kick off and thus started the match. Ionuț Mircescu charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ionuț Mircescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 4th minute, Marcu Fânaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augustin Mailat in the 6th minute of play forced AS Roma Braila's goalkeeper Petru Todericiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Petru Todericiu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from George Brânza went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Petru Todericiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augustin Mailat, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 17 minutes into the match, David Verzeanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Albert Chesaru. Brusturoasa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Verzeanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Costică Mudura got free with Albert Chesaru in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Brusturoasa's Albert Chesaru got control of the ball when Sandu Chiriacescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Petru Todericiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valeriu Vâtcu in the 23rd minute of play. Mihăiţă Ungureanu was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 28 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the game, one of AS Roma Braila:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Petru Todericiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionuț Mircescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. AS Roma Braila's Petru Todericiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augustin Mailat in the 34th minute of play. Petru Todericiu came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Brusturoasa's Ionuț Mircescu. But to his dismay, Ionuț Mircescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. When David Verzeanu fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AS Roma Braila's protests and gave David Verzeanu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to AS Roma Braila getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. David Verzeanu hit a great ball. Leonard Dichiseanu kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 43rd minute of the match Nechifor Dănciulescu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Petru Todericiu skillfully saved the ball. 44 minutes into the match, AS Roma Braila's goal looked a bit too open when Augustin Mailat came free, but Petru Todericiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pavel Oțeteleșanu made a kick off. When Pavel Oțeteleșanu came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the AS Roma Braila fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pavel Oțeteleșanu couldn't finish the play. David Verzeanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Chesaru having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Brusturoasa's zone, Sandu Chiriacescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albert Chesaru came out of the goal and Sandu Chiriacescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. AS Roma Braila's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Augustin Mailat 67 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-4. If Pavel Oțeteleșanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st match minute, AS Roma Braila was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonard Dichiseanu to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to AS Roma Braila getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Dorel Braniște hit a great ball. Pavel Oțeteleșanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Albert Chesaru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albert Chesaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandu Chiriacescu in the 84th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augustin Mailat in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petru Todericiu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 87th minute Pavel Oțeteleșanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Chesaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Brusturoasa getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Valeriu Vâtcu hit a great ball. In the 89th match minute, AS Roma Braila was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Verzeanu to maneuver through the defense. 91 minutes into the match, AS Roma Braila's goalkeeper Petru Todericiu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by George Brânza. After some careless play in the AS Roma Braila defense, George Brânza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Petru Todericiu. The AS Roma Braila fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Petru Todericiu should have stopped the shot.
