Spectators: 5110 (Terracing: 4100, Seating: 1010, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gigel Bara started the match with the kick off. Sandu Chiriacescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. In the 9th minute of the match Mihăiţă Vârșan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Horaţiu Huțanu skillfully saved the ball. Sandu Chiriacescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Horaţiu Huțanu made a huge save. In the 11th minute, Mihăiţă Ungureanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the match, F.C.Juventus Bacau's Iosif Chiriloaie sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Petru Todericiu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Costică Mudura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horaţiu Huțanu having to interfere. Horaţiu Huțanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costică Mudura in the 15th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by George Chirilă during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, F.C.Juventus Bacau's George Chirilă got a free kick in the 16th minute. Horaţiu Huțanu was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Pavel Oțeteleșanu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pavel Oțeteleșanu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Horaţiu Huțanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sandu Chiriacescu in the 24th minute. After 29th play minutes Pavel Oțeteleșanu shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Horaţiu Huțanu and just under the crossbar into goal. Costică Mudura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Horaţiu Huțanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Horaţiu Huțanu didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when AS Roma Braila's Costică Mudura shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 40thth minute of the game Costică Mudura who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but F.C.Juventus Bacau's Horaţiu Huțanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Pavel Oțeteleșanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sandu Chiriacescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Horaţiu Huțanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Costică Mudura stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Horaţiu Huțanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vali Zbârnea's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in F.C.Juventus Bacau's zone, Dorel Braniște stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Horaţiu Huțanu came out of the goal and Dorel Braniște tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 59 minutes of play, AS Roma Braila's Costică Mudura made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Horaţiu Huțanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pavel Oțeteleșanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Horaţiu Huțanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute Sandu Chiriacescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horaţiu Huțanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Verzeanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Costică Mudura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of F.C.Juventus Bacau booed when AS Roma Braila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Verzeanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Costică Mudura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Horaţiu Huțanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 97th minute Sandu Chiriacescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horaţiu Huțanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. AS Roma Braila fully deserved thier win.
