Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cătălin Zotincă took the kick off in the first half of the match. Cătălin Zotincă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Albert Chesaru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brusturoasa's goalkeeper Albert Chesaru, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 17th match minute, TG. Mures ASA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Micescu to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augustin Mailat in the 21st minute of play forced TG. Mures ASA's goalkeeper Sorin Glodeanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Valeriu Vâtcu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. George Brânza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 26 minutes of play, Brusturoasa's Augustin Mailat made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sorin Glodeanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Valeriu Vâtcu's late challenge caught a TG. Mures ASA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valeriu Vâtcu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th minute, Valeriu Vâtcu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cătălin Zotincă in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albert Chesaru prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eugen Mârzac's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Albert Chesaru read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Augustin Mailat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sorin Glodeanu having to interfere. Sorin Glodeanu came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Brusturoasa's George Brânza. But to his dismay, George Brânza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Brusturoasa's Albert Chesaru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Brusturoasa from getting a goal against them. The TG. Mures ASA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Brusturoasa were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Augustin Mailat made a kick off. Eugen Mârzac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albert Chesaru stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cătălin Zotincă's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Tiberiu Ţopescu kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, TG. Mures ASA's goalkeeper Sorin Glodeanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by George Brânza. Brusturoasa's Albert Chesaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cătălin Zotincă in the 63rd minute of play. Cătălin Zotincă scored 1-2 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Albert Chesaru, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. George Brânza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Sorin Glodeanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brusturoasa's Augustin Mailat got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74th minute of the match Marin Brezeanu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Albert Chesaru skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Budac in the 81st minute of play forced Brusturoasa's goalkeeper Albert Chesaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cătălin Zotincă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Eugen Mârzac got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, TG. Mures ASA's Sorin Glodeanu got control of the ball when George Brânza tried to sneak it across the goal line. Brusturoasa's Albert Chesaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cătălin Zotincă in the 93rd minute of play. Brusturoasa's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
