Spectators: 5110 (Terracing: 4100, Seating: 1010, VIP seats: 0) Costică Mudura started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, AS Roma Braila's Costică Mudura got a free kick in the 8th minute. A collision led to FC SANATATEA getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Sandu Şteţ hit a great ball. David Verzeanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Thaddeus Routhier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Sever Ionășescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 28 played minutes AS Roma Braila got a freekick which was hit by Isac Săndoi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliodor Călimanescu in the 33rd minute of play forced AS Roma Braila's goalkeeper Petru Todericiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC SANATATEA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marcel Tudoran in the 34th minute. The corner ended in Marcel Tudoran almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AS Roma Braila's Petru Todericiu did a great save. In the 36th minute Costică Mudura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thaddeus Routhier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sandu Şteţ charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sandu Şteţ the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of AS Roma Braila booed when FC SANATATEA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandu Şteţ didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Sever Ionășescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Petru Todericiu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 44th match minute, AS Roma Braila was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavel Oțeteleșanu to maneuver through the defense. Petru Todericiu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sever Ionășescu's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eliodor Călimanescu to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Mihăiţă Ungureanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcel Tudoran shot from long distance in the 53rd minute, but Petru Todericiu was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. After a defensive mix-up in FC SANATATEA's zone, Sandu Chiriacescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thaddeus Routhier came out of the goal and Sandu Chiriacescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 62nd minute, Sandu Chiriacescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, AS Roma Braila's Petru Todericiu got control of the ball when Eliodor Călimanescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eliodor Călimanescu took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Petru Todericiu. Petru Todericiu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Petru Todericiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sever Ionășescu in the 71st minute of the match. Sever Ionășescu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Petru Todericiu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 79 minutes into the game, FC SANATATEA's Eliodor Călimanescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Petru Todericiu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. If Sandu Şteţ had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thaddeus Routhier came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by AS Roma Braila's Pavel Oțeteleșanu. But to his dismay, Pavel Oțeteleșanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see AS Roma Braila lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
