Spectators: 6667 (Terracing: 5667, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gigel Bara started the match with the kick off. FC SANATATEA's Thaddeus Routhier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Chirilă in the 4th minute of play. George Chirilă took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thaddeus Routhier. Thaddeus Routhier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Eliodor Călimanescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sever Ionășescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Horaţiu Huțanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sever Ionășescu went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. F.C.Juventus Bacau's Horaţiu Huțanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save F.C.Juventus Bacau from getting a goal against them. Eliodor Călimanescu came free with the goalkeeper in the 25th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Horaţiu Huțanu could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, F.C.Juventus Bacau's Gigel Bara got a free kick in the 29th minute. Thaddeus Routhier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iacob Nicolae, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Gigel Bara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Thaddeus Routhier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iacob Nicolae in the 43rd minute of play forced FC SANATATEA's goalkeeper Thaddeus Routhier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eliodor Călimanescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Horaţiu Huțanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC SANATATEA's Dacian Ghiorman was substituted for Tudor Ivan. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After a rather tough play, F.C.Juventus Bacau's George Chirilă got a free kick in the 56th minute. FC SANATATEA's Thaddeus Routhier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iacob Nicolae in the 63rd minute of play. If Eliodor Călimanescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the F.C.Juventus Bacau defense, Eliodor Călimanescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Horaţiu Huțanu. The F.C.Juventus Bacau fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Horaţiu Huțanu should have stopped the shot. Horaţiu Huțanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliodor Călimanescu in the 73rd minute of play. A collision led to F.C.Juventus Bacau getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. George Chirilă hit a great ball. When Luca Negrițoiu came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the F.C.Juventus Bacau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luca Negrițoiu couldn't finish the play.
