Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nae Vărzaru kicked off to start the match. If Nae Vărzaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernest Tincu scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Damian Voiculescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 12 played minutes Delta Rapid got a freekick which was hit by Martin Ilieș. Tiberiu Ciordaș's late challenge caught a CSMB Europa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tiberiu Ciordaș helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd match minute, Delta Rapid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiberiu Ciordaș to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the game, CSMB Europa's Ferdinand Morar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valeriu Robu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Ernest Tincu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. After 46 played minutes CSMB Europa got a freekick which was hit by Sergiu Niță. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After a rather tough play, Delta Rapid's Sever Argăseală got a free kick in the 66th minute. CSMB Europa's Petre Baniu got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 77 minutes into the game, Ferdinand Morar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Valeriu Robu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Valeriu Robu made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Ferdinand Morar sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Delta Rapid's Anton Milea got a free kick in the 84th minute. After 94 played minutes Viorel Codrea rounded Delta Rapid's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-4. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched CSMB Europa eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
