Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Brusturoasa's Augustin Mailat started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Brânza in the 4th minute of play forced CSMB Europa's goalkeeper Damian Voiculescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Iustin Ciolofan fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CSMB Europa's protests and gave Iustin Ciolofan a yellow card for diving instead. Ferdinand Morar might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Albert Chesaru. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ferdinand Morar ran back to his position shaking his head. When Viorel Codrea came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the CSMB Europa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Viorel Codrea couldn't finish the play. In the 12th minute of the match Nechifor Dănciulescu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Damian Voiculescu skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Brusturoasa booed when CSMB Europa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vasile Giurchescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Augustin Mailat's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damian Voiculescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Damian Voiculescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Brânza in the 19th minute of play. Vasile Giurchescu kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Albert Chesaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viorel Codrea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Augustin Mailat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Voiculescu having to interfere. Damian Voiculescu came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Brusturoasa's George Brânza. But to his dismay, George Brânza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Valeriu Vâtcu hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Viorel Codrea struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Albert Chesaru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CSMB Europa. Viorel Codrea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damian Voiculescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Brânza in the 37th minute of the match. After having played for 38 minutes, Augustin Mailat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brusturoasa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augustin Mailat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. George Brânza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Augustin Mailat blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Damian Voiculescu having to make a save. The CSMB Europa players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Brusturoasa were winning 0-1.

After 54 played minutes CSMB Europa got a freekick which was hit by Sergiu Niță. After 60 played minutes Augustin Mailat could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 0-2 into the left cross. 63 minutes into the game, Ionuț Mircescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brusturoasa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CSMB Europa the free kick. In the 63rd match minute, Brusturoasa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ionuț Mircescu to maneuver through the defense. Ionuț Mircescu hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After 66 played minutes, CSMB Europa's Petre Baniu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Albert Chesaru came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CSMB Europa reached it. In the 68th minute, Valeriu Vâtcu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Damian Voiculescu. The goal made the score 0-3. Damian Voiculescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by George Brânza in the 72nd minute. Damian Voiculescu acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 77th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Marin Mălăele. Augustin Mailat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Damian Voiculescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vasile Giurchescu charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vasile Giurchescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to CSMB Europa getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Vasile Giurchescu hit a great ball. After 80 minutes of play, Brusturoasa's George Brânza made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Damian Voiculescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 86th minute, George Brânza fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 89 played minutes, Brusturoasa's Marin Mălăele shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Damian Voiculescu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Brusturoasa reached it. Sergiu Niță hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After 92 played minutes, Brusturoasa's Nechifor Dănciulescu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Damian Voiculescu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Brusturoasa reached it. Ferdinand Morar took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Albert Chesaru. Albert Chesaru dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. When the final whistle sounded Brusturoasa left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than CSMB Europa.
