Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cătălin Zotincă started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 5 minutes into the match, Hagiesti's goalkeeper Iurie Corlățean had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eugen Mârzac. Eugen Mârzac could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Iurie Corlățean made a huge save. In the 14th minute Emilian Zbuchea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sorin Glodeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Aristide Apăvăloaie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eugen Mârzac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iurie Corlățean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cătălin Zotincă in the 24th minute of play. Eugen Mârzac received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Iurie Corlățean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th match minute, Hagiesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Ducu to maneuver through the defense. Iurie Corlățean made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Eugen Mârzac sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Hagiesti's Robert Ducu got a free kick in the 30th minute. After having played for 34 minutes, Albert Budac managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TG. Mures ASA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albert Budac was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Emilian Zbuchea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eugen Mârzac fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iurie Corlățean having to interfere. Albert Budac might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iurie Corlățean. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Albert Budac ran back to his position shaking his head. After 42 played minutes Hagiesti got a freekick which was hit by Robert Ducu. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Eugen Mârzac managed to get in a good position for a shot. TG. Mures ASA's supporters rose to their feet, but Eugen Mârzac was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iurie Corlățean breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tudor Ţugui's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iurie Corlățean read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. A collision led to Hagiesti getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Robert Ducu hit a great ball. Tudor Ţugui hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match.
The audience thought a goal was coming when Aristide Apăvăloaie got free with Sorin Glodeanu in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iurie Corlățean didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eugen Mârzac went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Eugen Mârzac fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iurie Corlățean having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Hagiesti's zone, Eugen Mârzac stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iurie Corlățean came out of the goal and Eugen Mârzac tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Hagiesti getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Avram Jupân hit a great ball. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hagiesti's goalkeeper Iurie Corlățean, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Aristide Apăvăloaie could shoot a difficult shot in the 66th minute, which Sorin Glodeanu however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, TG. Mures ASA's Cătălin Zotincă got a free kick in the 66th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Hagiesti's zone, Gelu Văduvescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iurie Corlățean came out of the goal and Gelu Văduvescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. During the 77th minute of the match Robert Ducu completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Robert Ducu a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of TG. Mures ASA booed when Hagiesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Ducu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th match minute, Hagiesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilian Zbuchea to maneuver through the defense. Hagiesti's Iurie Corlățean played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugen Mârzac in the 83rd minute of play. Iurie Corlățean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugen Mârzac, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. TG. Mures ASA walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
