Dumitru Vrabie took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eusebiu Plopșor. Eusebiu Plopșor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 25th match minute, CVUCS POLI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Panait Filip to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute, CVUCS POLI's Nichifor Bejan seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Nichifor Bejan the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of CVUCS POLI protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Nichifor Bejan had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. If Nechifor Curteanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Dumitru Vrabie made a precise shot to the right of Eusebiu Plopșor. -PSC- Kosarom S.A's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The supporters of -PSC- Kosarom S.A booed when CVUCS POLI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petruț Bulgar didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to -PSC- Kosarom S.A getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Eliodor Vârjean hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dumitru Vrabie in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eusebiu Plopșor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The -PSC- Kosarom S.A players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. CVUCS POLI were winning 1-2.

Dumitru Vrabie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Eusebiu Plopșor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CVUCS POLI's Panait Filip got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eusebiu Plopșor made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Dumitru Vrabie sent off a good shot on target. Dumitru Vrabie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64thth minute of the game Dumitru Vrabie who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but -PSC- Kosarom S.A's Eusebiu Plopșor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When CVUCS POLI's Dumitru Vrabie in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye -PSC- Kosarom S.A's goalie prevented a goal. 70 minutes into the game, CVUCS POLI's Nechifor Curteanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eusebiu Plopșor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Moise Praporgescu kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in -PSC- Kosarom S.A's zone, Panait Filip stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eusebiu Plopșor came out of the goal and Panait Filip tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to CVUCS POLI getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Marian Săndoi hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicolae Isaicu during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the match had been going on for 92 minutes, CVUCS POLI's Petruț Bulgar got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Eusebiu Plopșor. 96 minutes into the match, -PSC- Kosarom S.A's Moise Praporgescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valeriu Răchită narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match was over CVUCS POLI could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than -PSC- Kosarom S.A throughout the match.
