Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5595, Seating: 1715, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emanuel Zdrobău started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stelian Lucănescu during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Dinamo Buzau's Niculae Burileanu got a free kick in the 5th minute. The MARASTI FC fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when MARASTI FC's Nichifor Plopeanu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 12th minute of the match, Emanuel Zdrobău tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Filip Ceaușu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Valeriu Baniciu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of FC Dinamo Buzau booed when MARASTI FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valeriu Baniciu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emanuel Zdrobău sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute Nichifor Plopeanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petre Brânza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filip Ceaușu made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Stelian Negoescu sent off a good shot on target. MARASTI FC's Filip Ceaușu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Zdrobău in the 33rd minute of play. Filip Ceaușu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Zdrobău in the 36th minute of the match. A collision led to FC Dinamo Buzau getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Stelian Negoescu hit a great ball. 42 minutes into the game, Stelian Negoescu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Filip Ceaușu. Stelian Negoescu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nichifor Plopeanu was the one to do the kick off. In the 62nd minute Emanuel Zdrobău shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filip Ceaușu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Dinamo Buzau's Emanuel Zdrobău got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute, Ilie Crivac hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stelian Negoescu in the 73rd minute of play forced MARASTI FC's goalkeeper Filip Ceaușu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute Stelian Negoescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filip Ceaușu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filip Ceaușu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stelian Negoescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute, Emanuel Zdrobău hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marin Tâbârnă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petre Brânza having to interfere. 88 minutes into the game, Stelian Negoescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Filip Ceaușu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Stelian Negoescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marin Tâbârnă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petre Brânza having to interfere. Filip Ceaușu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stelian Negoescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. MARASTI FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
